  10. **** This is a just a small update to fix some minor bugs ****

  12. VisualPrefs is a patch which allows you to customize with great freedom
  13. many aspects of the look of the Amiga GUI.
  14.  
  15. If you do want to see for yourself what VisualPrefs is able to do, just
  16. take a look of the preview image supplied with this archive.
  17.  
  18. Using a comfortable preferences editor, you can configure many details like:
  19.  
  20. · different light/dark colors for active or inactive windows edges
  21. · the thickness of all four window borders (also with system gadgets)
  22. · the height of window/screen titlebars regardless of the font height used
  23. · the system gadgets style (also for MUI/KingCON/ClassAct titlebar gadgets)
  24. · the exact look of the BOOPSI and GadTools 3D frames
  25. · the look of GadTools proportional gadgets
  26. · the position of window titles (centered in dragbar or in whole titlebar)
  27. · the fill color of inactive window borders
  28.  
  29. ... and also other interesting things. By the way, VisualPrefs contains all
  30. the functionality (and more) of my previous patches Prop3D and CenterTitles.

  32. You can configure individually the GUI of each different screen opened
  33. by your applications, as well as define a global GUI look.

  35. I know there are other programs doing some of this, but none of them has
  36. all the features offered by VisualPrefs.

  42.          "FullPalette" program, which is also on Aminet, currently
  43.          as util/wb/FullPalette17.lha (but the number may change).

  48.    · Fixed some bugs in the installation script.
  49.    · Added a few more safety controls in the GUI editor.
  50.    · There were some cases in which the Workbench screen would lock up
  51.      if closed and reopened. Now this shouldn't happen anymore.
  52.    · Slightly modified the documentation.
